Ever since I was a child, I have always loved to paint and draw.
My training at the St. Lucas Art Academy in Brussels was a natural extension of this attraction for visual expression.
The deep interest in material, colour and form led me to develop various forms of expression, such as watercolour, oil painting, pen drawing, collage, calligraphy, glass art, glass casting and glass blowing, and églomisé, which is an ancient technique of painting on the back of a glass surface.
I learned this ancient technique from the artist Frances Federer-Bennington, whose works are part of the permanent collection of the Corning Glass Museum in New York and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, where she is also in charge for restoration.
Based on this knowhow, I have followed my own creative path and regularly participate at exhibitions and other art events.
